These colors of Megladon Minnows are only available from Trappin’ Fool. I was looking for a soft bait that could be rigged for under ice spearing, jigging, Texas rigging, Carolina rigging and casting in a larger bait profile and color that would be enticing to pike, musky, lake trout and salmon. I believe these colors will be deadly in fresh, brackish and salt water for many species. The Megladon Minnow has a “blowhole” in the top of the head that fits a jig. Once rigged with the jig head, upon retrieval the bait shakes, rolls and darts in an erratic manner. Need more weight in insert some pencil weights. The bait is so big, when Texas rigged with smaller, approximately 6/0 and smaller the bait will float making it an great choice for tossing over vegetation. How will you rig it?
